Gemma Bessant is a public relations professional. She led the science and technology PR account for The Open University until 2011 and was then head of public relations at Polygon PR on Pall Mall. She hosted the first Internet of Things press briefings at the House of Lords and has designed and driven communications campaigns for global brands in the science, technology and engineering sectors.
